The NFL fined Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson $43,709 for unnecessary roughness during the team’s Week 6 defeat against Kansas City.
This marks the fourth fine in Jackson’s six games this season and the biggest amount to date.
Jackson was not penalized for the hit during the Thursday Night Football game, but the league ruled it deserving of a fine.
In Week 2, Jackson’s illegal hit resulted in his ejection from the game. He also was fined in weeks one and three.
Jackson, 35, was a first-round pick (No. 20 overall) of the Houston Texans in 2010 out of Alabama.
