NFL fans hate the new combine fade drill with a passion

NFL Scouting Combine

There’s a new fade drill being featured at the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine, and it didn’t take long for fans to express their disdain for it.

The fade is one of the most-hated red-zone throws around the league. It doesn’t work very often, but for some reason it’s something many teams go to an inordinate amount of time when looking for a score.

Anyway, on Thursday as quarterbacks, tight ends and receivers hit the field at the combine, the drill was unveiled.

The reactions on social media as the fade drill was going on were not positive.

It also was a bit puzzling to many that the drill took place in the middle of the field, rather than, you know, in the end zone.
