Considered by some to be among the most-talented wide receiver prospects in the entire NFL Draft, it’s possible that former Florida pass catcher Antonio Callaway won’t be selected at all. Callaway’s career with the Gators came to a conclusion in December of 2017 when he declared for the 2018 NFL Draft while still suspended by the program.
Callaway’s off-field issues in Florida included felony grand theft charges as well as sexual assault allegations.
It now looks like Callaway is in even more hot water heading into this week’s draft. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the receiver tested positive for marijuana during the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis earlier this year.
Former Florida WR Antonio Callaway — who some considered as talented as any WR in this draft — tested positive for marijuana at the combine, NFL sources told ESPN.
Callaway’s new agent Malki Kawa said it was for a diluted sample. Callaway hired Kawa about two weeks ago.

It’s just another red flag for teams around the league. In his write-up of the 6-foot-1 wide out, NFL Media’s Lance Zierlein previously had this to say about Callaway.
“Make no mistake about it, if Callaway had put together a trouble-free 2017 with even average production, he would be one, big Combine performance away from being one of the more buzzed about talents at the receiver position in this draft. However, his character concerns are at a point where they could derail any opportunity for a career if he doesn’t mature quickly.”
This latest piece of news could drop Callaway from the draft altogether.
Callaway put up 89 receptions for 1,399 yards and seven touchdowns in his first two seasons with the Gators before sitting out the entire 2017 campaign with the above-mentioned off-field issues.
