New York Giants quarterback, Eli Manning will miss six weeks of offseason activity due arthroscopic surgery performed on his left ankle last week. So where does this leave the Giants as far as quarterback depth? They may be phoning a friend for help and that friend is Josh Freeman.

Has it really come to this? Apparently the Giants were immensely impressed the last time Freeman and the boys in blue shared the same field. After all, the Giants did win and it was partially due to Freeman’s array of blunders. Here’s a little reminder of Freeman’s disastrous performance last season:

Despite how horribly Freeman played, perhaps the Giants are remembering how badly their own quarterback played in that same game.
The Giants quarterback situation is a bit of a hot mess and this could clearly be a case of going with the lesser of two evils. Perhaps it’s time to place a call to Tim Tebow. With the 12th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, a quarterback could definitely be an option.
