Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns have been one of the surprises in the league after they were projected to be possibly fighting for a Play-In Spot this season. Tonight, they face off against the Miami Heat at the PHX Arena, in what is essentially a tough test.

Phoenix are currently sitting in the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference and are getting contributions from several players to help them stay afloat. The Heat, on the other side, are currently sitting eight in the Eastern Conference with a 24-22 record.

Nonetheless, the Suns are favourites heading into this game, although they lost their recent game against the Atlanta Hawks, and toward the end of the third quarter, Devin Booker went down with an ankle injury.

While he was able to walk off on his own, he did not return to the court in the fourth game. With the Suns locking horns with the Heat at home tonight, we look into which players are healthy to play and those who are out.

Devin Booker, Jalen Green’s injury status vs. Heat

The latest injury report list Devin Booker (ankle) as unavailable for the game, while Jalen Green is listed as questionable against the Miami Heat.

It’s still unclear how long Booker will be out with the ankle injury he sustained, but the Suns might want to brace for him to be sidelined for a few weeks.

This would be a huge blow for the Suns, especially with how they’ve been playing over the course of the season.

With Booker out, having Green available could be the one thing that can help them if the former has to miss extended time, but he’s still working back from his own injury.

As a result, Phoenix will have to rely on their defense to lead them to victories, and players like Dillon Brooks will have an increased workload on offense. That hasn’t seemed to bother him this season though, and when you look at his stats, he’s having the best year of his career this season.
