As the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors prepare for Game 1 of the NBA Finals, head coach Steve Kerr is clearly feeling loose.

As he walked past a group of reporters Thursday morning, he was asked by one of the Raptors would win in five or six games.

His response was just perfect:

Based on Kerr’s history in Game 1 of postseason series, he has every reason to feel confident.


It also doesn’t hurt that Golden State is looking to win its third-straight NBA title heading into the 2019 NBA Finals. Here’s a look at some of the matchups that will decide this coming series against Kawhi Leonard and Co.

Game 1 starts at 9 p.m. ET and is being broadcast nationally on ABC. For what it’s worth, the Raptors are favored to win by one point.
