Knicks fans rejoice after Kevin Durant follows Allonzo Trier on Instagram

Just hours before the official start of NBA free agency, Kevin Durant sparked the hopes of millions of New York Knicks fans by following Allonzo Trier on Instagram.

Trier, of course, is set to play his sophomore campaign with the Knicks busting onto the scene as a solid contributor last season after going undrafted in 2018 out of Arizona.

So, naturally, fans jumped to conclusions assuming that this social media activity must have something to do with Durant’s rumored interest in signing with the Knicks in free agency this summer.

In reality, the follow likely will end up having nothing to do with Durant’s ultimate decision. But it’s silly season around the NBA, and we can’t blame Knicks fans for hoping.
