The Bucks took offers from interested teams before February’s trade deadline. However, they used the conversations instead to get an idea of possible returns for the two-time MVP and punted until this summer. When they are expected to get even better offers and from even more teams.

For such a historic deal, one would imagine that the Bucks would take their time and make sure they get the best return possible. However, with the 2026 NBA Draft having a stacked field of talent, getting extra picks for this month’s event will be a priority. That means an Antetokounmpo trade is coming very soon.
“It is likewise strongly believed throughout the league that the Bucks are indeed trending toward an Antetokounmpo trade between now and the NBA Draft on June 23 because Bucks co-owner Jimmy Haslam essentially established such a timeline,” NBA insider Jake Fischer reports.
Teams like the Atlanta Hawks (No. 8), Golden State Warriors (No. 11), and the Miami Heat (No. 13) are among the teams that are expected to dangle multiple draft picks in a trade for the 10-time All-Star.
