Kyrie Irving was unstoppable Friday night as the Brooklyn Nets laid waste to the Chicago Bulls, scoring 54 points in a virtuoso performance that had fans everywhere in awe.

Irving was a perfect 10-of-10 from the field in the first half alone when he scored 27 points.

He finally did miss a shot but still finished his night having drained 19-of-23 shots en route to a 54-point performance that fell just three shy of the franchise record of 57, set by Deron Williams.

After scoring his 54th point of the game, Irving pointed to the sky in a nod to the late Kobe Bryant, who had been a mentor to him.

When Irving left in the fourth quarter, he received a huge ovation from the crowd.

Afterward, social media erupted with reactions to his huge game.
