DeAndre Jordan is headed to the Dallas Mavericks, unless he’s not, in which case, he’ll return to the Los Angeles Clippers.
ESPN’s Marc Stein broke the news that the center is “torn” and “unsure” about signing the four-year, $80 million offer he accepted from Dallas last week.
The Twitterverse has since erupted, and a handful of NBA players have weighed into the situation, mostly in a hilarious manner.
Clippers backup center Ekpe Udoh posted a picture of comedian Kevin Hart. Udoh has surely grabbed his favorite drink to watch the Jordan saga unfold.

Dallas forward Chandler Parsons, who was part of the franchise’s recruitment team, tweeted a picture of a plane. Perhaps Parsons is jumping on a plane with team owner Mark Cuban.

Clippers guard J.J. Redick responded to Parsons, simply offering a picture of a car as his means of transportation to meet with Jordan.

Oh, and Blake Griffin has to cut his vacation short. The star power forward appears to be leaving Kauai, Hawaii, in hopes of keeping his frontcourt-mate.

The competition to land Jordan is assuredly fierce, but the playful jabs are yet another reason why the NBA is so great.
UPDATE: CHRIS PAUL WON IT ALL
Chris Paul was on vacation, and he was seen riding a banana boat tube with Dwyane Wade and LeBron James.
Hence, this beauty of a tweet.
