Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a major holiday around the United States. It reminds us of a man who fought for and died to create the equality so many are still battling for today.

It’s also an absolutely huge day around the NBA world. That’s no different on this Monday with 28 of the league’s 30 teams in action.

For the players, this day is of utmost importance. King was and remains an instrumental part in their lives and success.

As such, NBA players took to social media on Monday to pay their respects to the American hero.
