Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart flipped the bird to a fan Tuesday night during the team’s loss at home to the Chicago Bulls. Now he’s getting fined $25,000 for his action.
Smart’s “obscene gesture” came after he missed a three-point shot in the fourth quarter.
His coach, Brad Stevens, has already stated of his player’s action, “if he made a gesture, it’s inappropriate.”
Obviously the Association agreed.
