Newly enshrined NASCAR Hall of Famer will become a more regular fixture in the community as he has accepted an analyst role for the Cup Series broadcasts on Amazon Prime Video.
Edwards joins previously announced hosts Danielle Trotta and part-time Cup Series racer Corey Lajoie on the pre- and post-race studio shows for the digital platform. Also announced on Tuesday is Daytona 500 winner Trevor Bayne to join the pit road reporter squad alongside veterans Kim Coon and Marty Snider.
The broadcast team will be lead by veteran play-by-play voice Adam Alexander alongside analysts Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Steve Letarte.
“We’re thrilled to introduce Carl, Trevor, Kim and Marty to our NASCAR on Prime Video team,” said Alex Strand, Sr. coordinating producer at Prime Video. “Carl’s Hall-of-Fame career, combined with the extensive experience of Trevor, Kim, and Marty, brings an unparalleled authenticity to our coverage. Their deep knowledge and genuine passion will resonate with fans and elevate the NASCAR viewing experience. We look forward to showcasing our entire announce team when we debut in just a few short months.”
