If the New York Jets make it into the playoffs, they might be without Muhammad Wilkerson, who suffered a knee injury during Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
Wilkerson’s right leg was twisted awkwardly after he tackled Bills running back Boobie Dixon, and he was in obvious pain on the ground for some time after the play.

Surrounded by concerned teammates, he needed help to get off the ground and slowly made his way to the sideline, needing men on both sides of him supporting his weight to make the trip.
In the end, he needed to be carted from the sideline into the locker room, signifying this could potentially be a significant injury.
At the time he was carted off the field, New York trailed Buffalo by the score of 19-10 in the third quarter.
This injury, if significant, could potentially cost Wilkerson millions. He’s set to hit free agency this offseason and was slated to potentially get paid in the range of Ndamukong Suh and J.J. Watt’s lofty contracts.
