The New York Yankees sat on the verge of elimination in Game 6 of the ALCS. Then DJ LeMahieu changed everything with one powerful blast in the ninth inning.

Facing Houston Astros All-Star closer Roberto Osuna on a full count, LeMahieu drilled the ball into the right field seats and just past outfielder George Springer’s glove for the game-tying home run.

It’s simply been the story of New York’s season. Just when everyone starts to count them out in a position they almost certainly can’t come back from, someone steps up and delivers for the Yankees. It’s the best of baseball in October and Saturday’s Game 6 battle just got even more exciting.
