Watch as Arizona Diamondbacks prospect pulls a Jose Canseco.

Arizona Diamondbacks outfield prospect Zach Borenstein won’t be living down this crazy moment any time soon.

The 27-year-old Reno Aces power hitter took a ball off the head in right field Tuesday night against Oklahoma City outfielder Alex Verdugo. It then bounced 20-plus feet and over the wall for a home run.

Seriously.

That takes some major skill from Borenstein right there.

Ultimately, Borenstein played somewhat of a head-scratching role (pun intended) in Reno’s 9-7 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Triple-A affiliate.

One can only think of just how much this reminds us of Jose Canseco so many years back. If you’re too young to remember what the former MVP pulled as a member of the Texas Rangers, here’s a refresher.

Congratulations to Borenstein for making the bone-headed (more pun) play of the Minor League Baseball season.
