Chicago Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber made an incredible diving catch to close out the third inning against the Cincinnati Reds. Then he tipped his cap to a crowd that, of course, wasn’t at the stadium.
The catch was absolutely highlight-reel worthy. The tip of the cap was hilarious. Here’s video of both.
This athletic play came just one-half inning after the Cubs scored a run thanks to the sun blasting Reds center fielder Shogo Akiyama, which allowed Jason Kipnis to land one of the luckiest triples we’ve seen in some time.
