Andy Atwood of the Cape Cod League’s Bourne Braves produced the play not only of that league’s season, but any league’s season.
Shea Langeliers of the Chatham Anglers smoked an apparent home run to deep center field, but Atwood had other ideas. The centerfielder, who plays his collegiate ball at Oregon State, made a brilliant leaping grab, not only catching the ball, but holding on to it as he tumbled over the fence.

We have to give Atwood credit for not only the sterling grab, but also for the casual flip of his glove back onto the field. Making the play of the year is one thing but getting some style points after is even better.
