The Double-A affiliates of the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers have decided to make things a little more interesting with a World Series bet.
Just before the start of Game 1, the Twitter page of the Corpus Christi Hooks — the Astros’ affiliate — threw the gauntlet down.

The affiliate of the Dodgers — the Tulsa Drillers — were not about to back down. In fact, they made the stakes a little higher.

Hamburgers and beer? This is a bet that we can sink our teeth in to.
The bet will be paid off in the final weekend of May, when the two teams meet in Corpus Christi for a three-game series.
