Minnesota Vikings: QB Teddy Bridgewater Officially Inked

It’s official. Teddy Bridgewater has just signed his rookie contract with the Minnesota Vikings. Bridgewater was the 32nd overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft and the second pick for the Vikings in the first round.

Along with a freshly-signed contract, which takes him through the 2017 season with a fifth-year club option, it appears that Bridgewater is getting all the first-team snaps as well. This will surely help him for his competition with veteran Matt Cassel for the Vikings starting quarterback job.

This could be the foundation for a fresh start for Vikings team as a unit. Maybe someday in the near future, we’ll see Bridgewater and first-year wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson make fantasy football magic.
