The Los Angeles Angels had to pull Mike Trout from Sunday’s game after the superstar outfielder experienced right calf tightness. The team then announced Trout is “day-to-day” going forward due to this injury.
Trout is on a hot streak at the plate unlike he’s been at any point in his already impressive history.
The top vote-getter for the All-Star game, Trout is batting .306 with 30 home runs and 75 RBI, and he’s been unbelievable making plays in the outfield this year, too.
Needless to say, the Angels are taking every precaution with this injury, and they have to hope he’ll be back sooner rather than later.
