On February 17, New England Patriots wide receiver Michael Floyd pleaded guilty to one account of extreme DUI charges. He was sentenced to serve 120 days in jail but will actually only spend 24 days behind bars while spending the remainder of his time on home arrest.

That sentence took place immediately, and Floyd has since been housed in Lower Buckeye Jail in Buckeye, Arizona.

A Maricopa County spokes representative had this to say about Floyd.

“Michael Floyd has not been in any altercation or had any disciplinary issues so far, per TMZ Sports.”

This is good news to hear. Floyd recently publicly apologized for his actions.

Floyd is an impending free agent if the Patriots do not choose to re-sign in for 2017. The receiver was immediately released by the Arizona Cardinals once news of Floyd’s arrest broke in December.
