Miami fans get creative with another ‘Fire Al Golden’ banner (photo)

Miami football fans are tired of being mired in mediocrity, which is all they’ve sampled since the university hired Al Golden to be the head coach.

On that note, a new banner was seen flying over Sun Life Stadium before Saturday’s afternoon game between Miami and Virginia Tech. As many are likely aware, we’ve seen “Fire Al Golden” banners flying in the air behind tiny airplanes before every game this year.

Here is a photo of the new banner, which reads “Al’s only signature win is his contract #FireAlGolden.”

After winning the first three games of the 2015 season, Golden’s Hurricanes have dropped two in a row. Another loss Saturday to the Hokies would move the team to 3-3 on the season, and would almost certainly prompt more of an uproar from the already disgruntled Miami fan base.
