New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor is recovering from surgery to remove a bone spur from his right elbow.

The four-time All-Star and two-time Gold Glove winner is expected to be fully recovered by spring training, the Mets announced Wednesday.

Dr. David Altchek performed the procedure in New York City on Tuesday.

Lindor, 29, batted .254 with 31 homers, 98 RBIs and 31 stolen bases — his first 30/30 season — in 160 games in 2023.

He is a career .274 hitter with 215 homers and 679 RBIs in 1,223 games with Cleveland (2015-20) and New York.
