ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that it was a hip injury.
The Chargers listed Gordon’s return to the game as “questionable.”
The second-year back has been San Diego’s best offensive player this season. He entered Week 14 with 992 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns on the ground. He’d also caught 41 passes for 419 yards and two touchdowns. Gordon had three carries for five yards prior to his injury on Sunday.
Expect Kenneth Farrow to get majority of the carries in Gordon’s absence.
