It’s pretty obvious that former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace was not necessarily liked in the locker room.
Now a member of the Minnesota Vikings following a trade last week, Wallace is starting to receive some brush back from his former teammates.
Never afraid to stir up the pot, Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Maurkice Pouncey, who played with Wallace in Pittsburgh, sounded off on the receiver, calling him a “coward.”
The interview came with Pouncey’s twin brother, Mike, who was Wallace’s teammate in Miami over the past two seasons.
There is somewhat of a jaded history between Wallace and his old team. He reportedly pulled himself out of the Dolphins regular season finale against the New York Jets. At that point, some Dolphins players were upset over his actions.
Wallace was sent to the Vikings with a seventh-round pick in exchange for a fifth rounder last week. He recorded less than 1,800 receiving yards in two seasons with Miami after signing a five-year, $60 million contract prior to the 2013 season.
