Matthew Wolff entered the field for the LIV Golf Series event in Portland this week, signaling his imminent exit from the PGA Tour.

Per multiple reports, Wolff, 23, is planning to announce his decision on Monday.

Wolff finished 40th in the Travelers Championship in Connecticut on Sunday in what could be his Tour finale.

Members of the Tour who have joined the LIV Golf Series are suspended once they take the tee box with the competitor, commissioner Jay Monahan said last week.

Wolff’s meteoric rise included a runner-up finish at the 2020 U.S. Open at Winged Foot and a fourth-place finish at the PGA Championship the same year.

After taking a two-month break last year to focus on his mental health, the former Oklahoma State star has missed the cut in seven of 12 starts.
