Martin Truex Jr. and the rest of his NASCAR foes were on hand at the Circuit of The Americas in Texas on Sunday, one week before the circuit heads to North Carolina for the Coca-Cola 600 for a holiday weekend race.

The bad news? Truex Jr. will not have a chance to win at COTA after being involved in a crash with Cole Custer. The good news? Both drivers came out of the insane crash unharmed.

Check it out.

Another angle shows just how insane the crash was. It’s crazy that both Martin Truex Jr. and Custer were able to walk away.

Truex Jr. spoke to the media after said crash, calling it “dangerous.”

It’s not yet known if weather played a role in the crash. But as you can see, the track in Austin was pretty wet due to some light rain showers. This crash resulted in a fourth caution.

For his part, Truex Jr. was not pleased.
