Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch. That sounds weird, right? Just as reports surfaced Wednesday that the Seahawks and Raiders have agreed to a deal that sends Lynch to his hometown team, the running back himself pretty much confirmed that he’s now a member of Raider Nation.
He did it in the most Marshawn Lynch way possible. On Twitter. With the use of an English language most of us don’t recognize.

Lynch will now have to pass through a physical in order for the trade to be finalized. That’s expected to come later in the week. Though, it’s pretty much a done deal at this point.
Heck, Raiders quarterback Derek Carr welcomed his new running back to the team earlier on Wednesday (more on that here).
The expectation now is that Lynch and the Raiders will host a block party in Oakland on Thursday.

Again, that’s the most Marshawn Lynch thing ever.
For fans in Oakland, this is one bit of good news in an offseason that’s been filled with bad news. The Raiders will soon relocate to Las Vegas after an attempt to build a venue in Northern California failed.
At the very least, fans of the long downtrodden franchise will be able to watch their hometown hero suit up for a Super Bowl contender this upcoming season.
