Nobody can ever accuse Oakland Raiders punter Marquette King of not having a sense of humor.
King is one of several NFL players facing a fine for participation in an arm wrestling contest in Las Vegas that will benefit charity, which you can read about here.
But facing a hit to his bank account has done nothing to keep King from cracking jokes. In fact, it seems to have added to his repertoire.
A fan and father of a young punter took to Twitter to ask King for advice. For King, it now starts with avoiding contests like the one he’s facing discipline for.
Well, there you have it.
The good news is that punters are generally the smallest guys on a team. With that, they are usually nowhere near arm wrestling contests anyway. But just in case, young punters have now heard it straight from the horse’s mouth.
