The Seattle Mariners reinstated Evan White from the 60-day injured list Monday and optioned the first baseman to Triple-A Tacoma.

White, 26, landed on the 10-day injured list with a sports hernia on April 7 and was transferred to the 60-day IL on April 28.

The former Gold Glove winner has made 22 appearances in three separate rehab assignments this season at Tacoma, batting .197 with four home runs and 10 RBIs.

White is a .165 career hitter with 10 homers, 35 RBIs and 115 strikeouts in 84 games with the Mariners during the 2020 and 2021 seasons. He was Seattle’s first-round draft pick (17th overall) in 2017.
