Malik Rosier benched in fourth quarter with Miami down by 10

Miami quarterback Malik Rosier has struggled on this Black Friday as the Hurricanes take on Pittsburgh, and he ended up getting benched in the fourth quarter.

Unfortunately for the Hurricanes, backup quarterback Evan Shiffeffs was unable to do anything on his first drive in the game, leading a three-and-out while missing on his two attempts before being sacked on third down.

Before being benched by head coach Mark Richt, Rosier had completed just 12-of-30 passes for 129 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. His inaccuracy was a big problem for the ‘Canes in this game, as many receivers were overthrown by large margins.

Heading into the final minutes of this game, Miami is down 17-7 and in grave danger of seeing its undefeated record fall by the wayside.
