Loyola to feature 2.5-foot Sister Jean made out of LEGO blocks to celebrate her 100th birthday

Sister Jean

A bit more than a year ago, Sister Jean became an international celebrity for her affiliation with the Loyola men’s basketball team during the NCAA Tournament.

The Catholic nun is now set to turn 100 years old on August 21, and Loyola Chicago is set to celebrate this incredible milestone by featuring a 2.5-feet tall Sister Jean figuring made out of over 5,000 LEGO blocks this coming season.

That’s just amazing. Hopefully, the Ramblers can make another run at the tourney next spring so team chaplain Sister Jean can once more grace us all with her awesome presence.
