LOOK: Triple-A baseball team recruits LeBron James in hilarious fashion

Where will LeBron James sign in the offseason? It’s the million dollar question in the NBA world. But the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, have made a pitch that will be hard for King James to refuse.

Citing the brief Minor League Baseball career of Michael Jordan and James’ desire to take Jordan’s place as the greatest of all time, the IronPigs suggested that LeBron come aboard.

That certainly is a strong selling point. If anything, this would give King James a leg up on MJ. Jordan played for the Birmingham Barons, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. James is facing an uphill battle to equal (or surpass) Jordan’s six championships. But Jordan will never play in Triple-A.

Food for thought, LeBron.
