LOOK: San Antonio Zoo has this offer to keep Kawhi Leonard with the Spurs

San Antonio Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard (2) is interviewed during media day at the Spurs training facility.

Disgruntled San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard might have his sights set on Hollywood after reportedly requesting to be dealt from his current team last week. The bright lights of Philadelphia or Boston could also come calling for the former NBA Defensive Player of the Year.

In no way does this mean that those within his current hometown are willing to let Leonard go without a fight.

Just ask the San Antonio Zoo, who is out here offering up something of substance to Leonard should he reverse course. It’s a VIP parking spot at the zoo.

Yeah, this is certainly a thing that’s happening right now.

Listen. We love the zoo as much as anyone else. No offense meant to those who do a darn good job at that facility in San Antonio, CEO Tim Morrow included. But this isn’t going to move the chains all too much.

They have zoos in Los Angeles, Philadelphia and Boston. Heck, the wildlife park in San Diego is something to behold. I’m pretty sure Leonard could get VIP parking at any of those locations should he somehow decide that elite parking at a freaking zoo will be part of his decision-making process.

For now, Leonard might want to check out snakes on his next trip to the zoo. Because if the Spurs are forced to trade him, he’ll become known as the Kevin Durant of San Antonio.
