Choo, who was born in South Korea, geared up in South Korea’s kit in advance of the team’s World Cup match against Mexico on Saturday.
The 35-year-old outfielder certainly seems to be excited for his country’s matchup today in the Group F stage.
Choo may encounter some friendly jabs today from one of his teammates. Starting pitcher Yovani Gallardo was born in Mexico and will certainly be rooting for his countrymen in today’s match. Most of Choo’s teammates will be in he same boat.
