LOOK: Patriots fans take over D.C. for Redskins game

It’s becoming readily apparent that the Washington Redskins no longer boast a home-field advantage. At 0-4 on the season, the Skins are an absolute mess on the field.

Fans are not excited about this season’s variation of the team. They want head coach Jay Gruden thrown out of D.C. quicker than an ethics professor.

Huge underdogs against the undefeated defending champion New England Patriots on Sunday, it appears that this will be more of a road game at FedEx Field in D.C.

It’s quite disturbing that opposing fans can take over a stadium in the nation’s capital in such an easy manner.

We know Patriots fans travel well. D.C. is also made up of a transient population.

We’ve seen similar issues when it comes to home games for the Rams and Chargers in Southern California. We can expect much of the same when the Raiders relocate to Las Vegas next season.

Even then, this is a major black eye for owner Daniel Snyder and the Skins. There’s no other way to go about it.
