LOOK: Moda Center turned into memorial for late Paul Allen

The Portland Trail Blazers will play host to the Los Angeles Lakers Thursday night in their regular season debut at the Moda Center. It will also be the team’s first game since owner Paul Allen passed away earlier this week.

Like the rest of the sports world, the Blazers were hit hard by the death of a man that did so much before leaving this life too early.

They are also now paying tribute to Allen outside their venue in the Pacific Northwest.

Given that the Moda Center was previously known as the Rose Garden, having said flowers within the memorial is an especially great look.

It’s difficult to point to how much Allen did for the world prior to his passing at the age of 65. But it’s rather clear the Blazers’ organization plans on paying tribute to him this season. That will include patches throughout the 2018-19 campaign.

Good stuff from the Blazers here.
