The New York Mets game against the Braves in Atlanta Wednesday evening was delayed due to rain in the area.
This apparently gave the Mets’ social media team some time to troll fans on Twitter. A fan responded to New York announcing that its game had been delayed with a pretty old joke.
Anyone who has been on social media even a little bit knows that this is a go-to troll for the lowest among us.
Though, it was the Mets’ response that took the day.
