Who said fishing wasn’t a dangerous sport? The most accident prone of us can remember getting a fishing hook to the lip. Don’t lie. You’ve been there before.

Not that he’s as clumsy as us, star Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm was just recently taken to the hospital after a minor fishing accident.

Fromm took a fishing lure to the leg and ended up in the ER at the Cook Medical Center in Adel, Ga.

Don’t fret Bulldog fans, Fromm will be just fine. It’s a minor accident.

Fromm started 14 games for the national runner-up Bulldogs last season. Georgia boasted an overall record of 13-2 with wins in the SEC Championship Game and the Rose Bowl before losing to Alabama in the National Championship.

As a freshman, the studly quarterback completed 62 percent of his passes for 24 touchdowns and just seven picks.

Fromm will be ready to go for Georgia’s 2018 season opener against Austin Peay on September 1. Let’s just hope he’s done with fishing for the offseason.
