Derek Jeter’s success during a 20-year stint with the New York Yankees has helped lead him a lavish post-career lifestyle.

That includes being the face of the Miami Marlins organization and an absolutely huge mansion in the Tampa Bay region of Florida.

Apparently, the 14-time All-Star and five-time World Series champ is looking to downsize a bit.

Derek Jeter puts Tampa Bay mansion on the market for $29 million

“At just under 22,000 square feet, the spread is the largest residence in South Tampa, and includes seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, and eight half-bathrooms,” noted.

The residence and the property it sits on is absolutely magnificent.

The amenities make for a party pretty much every day, too.

  • 9,000 square feet of landscaping
  • Multiple outdoor porches and balconies
  • A dock with two boat lifts
  • A heated spa
  • 80-foot saltwater lap pool
  • Club room with full-service bar and billiards table
  • Wine cellar
  • In-home movie theater
  • Professional gym
  • Six-car garage

This is the very same estate that Jeter rented out to new Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady when he left New England for Florida. Go figure.
