LOOK: Curtis Granderson loses part of his tooth on slide

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

In the ninth inning of Game 5 of the NLCS vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers, Curtis Granderson drilled an RBI double for the Milwaukee Brewers. But it came with a price — part of one of his tooth.

As Granderson slid into second, his helmet flew off, bounced into the base, and popped right back up into his face. A part of one of his teeth fell to the Dodger Stadium infield.

That couldn’t have felt too good for Granderson. Despite that, he stayed in the game.
