Free-agent wide receiver Antonio Brown was at home watching his former New England Patriots team get blown out by the Houston Texans on Sunday.
Like pretty much the rest of us, Brown saw quarterback Tom Brady chewing out his current crop of receivers.
The embattled former Pro Bowler took that as a cue to campaign for the Patriots to re-sign him. He did so in hilarious fashion.
Brown absolutely aced the delivery here. The music. The video. Everything. What a tremendous use of social media from a man who has struggled on that platform in the past.
Brown, 31, was released by the Patriots after just one game earlier this season once allegations of sexual assault became public record. Since then, reports have suggested that the team could be interested in re-signing him.
We’re not too sure if Sunday’s loss will play a role. But it can’t hurt Brown’s chances.
