LOOK: Antonio Brown blasts NFL, Ben Roethlisberger in series of tweets

Antonio Brown sign Patriots

Just a few days after posting an apology for his “inexcusable” behavior, free-agent receiver Antonio Brown returned to taking shots at the NFL on Wednesday morning.

As Brown continues to wait for a decision following the league’s investigation following multiple sexual assault allegations, the former All-Pro receiver blasted the NFL’s for its disciplinary process.

Of course, Brown’s shot is directed at Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Anthony Chickillo. He isn’t alone, though, as the receiver posted a screenshot of players who are playing despite recent arrests.

He didn’t stop there. Brown responded to criticism by directing the person to check Ben Roethlisberger’s stats before Brown arrived and compare them to his numbers with him.

He also took aim at the NFL Players Association, suggesting it is stealing money from the very players it is meant to represent.

While Brown would be far better off to just avoid social media, he clearly can’t quit it. After trying to act responsible and apologizing, he’s clearly fallen back into his old habits and it could prove costly to his NFL chances in 2020, though, perhaps he doesn’t want to return.
