Lincoln Riley: Sooners won’t do ‘Horns Down’ sign during Red River Shootout

The Red River Shootout between Oklahoma and Texas this coming weekend is going to be epic, but don’t expect the Sooners to do the “Horns Down” sign at any point.

On Monday, head coach Lincoln Riley made it clear that “Our players won’t do it,” per Jason Kersey of The Athletic.

Wherever he is right now, and during Saturday’s big game, you can be sure Baker Mayfield is doing the “Horns Down” sign for the Sooners.

Both coaches are pumped for the annual Red River Shootout.

The Sooners come into Week 7 ranked No. 6 in the nation, while Texas is No. 11. The Cotton Bowl in Dallas is going to be absolutely electric as these two rivals go at it on Saturday.
