New York Jets star running back Le’Veon Bell will not play on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins due to an illness, the team announced Saturday.
This is a big loss for the Jets, even though Bell hasn’t had a monster season in his first year with the franchise. Though he hasn’t put up the kind of numbers he was famous for in Pittsburgh, Bell has still tallied 992 yards and four touchdowns from scrimmage.
With Bell out of the lineup, look for Bilal Powell to get the majority of the work running the ball on Sunday against the Dolphins.
