Le’Veon Bell ‘looking a bit lost’ during Jets minicamp

Le’Veon Bell skipped all but one of the New York Jets voluntary workouts this offseason, and he’s reportedly struggling to absorb the offense during his first practice.

Rich Cimini of ESPN was watching the first Jets minicamp practice on Tuesday and shared that Bell is “looking a bit lost, quite frankly” and noting he wasn’t getting involved much in the offense.

Of course, this isn’t all that shocking. Bell is joining a new team that is installing a brand new offense, and he wasn’t there for the first part of the installation.

It seems likely that, over time, he’ll catch up and have no issues.

However, the fact he’s struggling to get into the flow during these practices could be exactly why there were reports that the franchise was upset he was skipping the voluntary workouts.
