Leonard Fournette had 700 trophies turned into weight set for HS football team

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Leonard Fournette is expected to do big things for his new team, but he’s already made an impact on the community.

Fournette, who has been a legendary player dating back to before his high school years, has accumulated quite a trophy collection since his childhood. A collection that includes at least 700 trophies, if you can believe that. Working with MET-Rx, he decided to put those trophies to good use.

Fournette had the trophies broken down so they could be turned into a full dumbell set for the Raines High School football team.

That’s an outstanding way to put one’s past achievements to good use.

Fournette, selected No. 4 overall this past April by the Jags, will now look ahead to his NFL career and hopefully will earn some new hardware. He is one of the favorites to win NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and will be heavily featured as the lead back for his new team.
