Make it five. Five New England Patriots players who won’t be going to the White House when the team is honored for winning Super Bowl LI. LeGarrette Blount joins Chris Long, Dont’a Hightower, Martellus Bennett and Devin McCourty, saying on the “Rich Eisen Show” that he will not be attending the ceremony.

Interestingly, Long announced he wasn’t attending in a strange way responding to a column that urged him not to go, which you can read more about here.
At this point, one wonders how many Patriots players will be attending. One thing we can bank on is Tom Brady being there to see his friend, Donald Trump, along with owner Robert Kraft, who has a long relationship with the President.
