Kyrie Irving caused quite the stir when he asserted the Earth is actually flat, not round as everyone knows to be the truth, during All-Star week.

Whether he actually believes it or not remains to be seen, as NBA commissioner Adam Silver said he was just “trying to be provocative.”

Either way, big bro LeBron James has his back.

At this point, it’s impossible to know for certain if Irving is just having some fun with the media. After all, this week is all about fun, as players can take it easy in the midst of the long NBA season, which is a tremendous grind.

What we do know is that his apparent stubborn refusal to accept scientific truth as reality won’t keep his Cleveland Cavaliers teammates, most notably King James, from embracing him.
